Comedian Luke McQueen performed at Always Be Comedy in 2017. He tried to find comedy in the most absurd of situations with a flair for clowning, impromptu songs and audience interaction. He was extremely active, argumentative, and always firing from leftfield in his quest for laughter.
Appearing to be acting on acrimony to fuel his routine, McQueen was a guest at Nick Helm’s Christmas show dressed as an aggressive snowman. The audience initially seemed to begrudge him not quite sure what to make of it all but by the end of the sketch whilst directing attacks at the audience with forceful ranting, his act was met with hysterical laughter.
Returning to Always Be Comedy in April 2022, McQueen entertained a packed audience with his bizarre take on life including an inspired routine involving compare James Gill taking the role of a sports reporter interviewing the comedian about his set! It was a genius idea and an extremely funny twenty-minutes from an original and unique act.
