Nick Helm’s Xmas F*ck Fest 4: Pleasance Theatre, Islington, London, 2018
Bursting with comic ideas, the creator of The Elvis Dead appeared at Nick Helm’s Christmas Show in December 2018. I had heard a lot about his act and as he ran on stage, he yelled at me in the front row asking where my paper hat had gone after I had pulled a Christmas cracker earlier in the show with Helm. I retrieved it from my pocket, put it back on my head and the musical comedian proceeded with inspired song choices from his obsession with eighties cinema. Kemp was an great act who I would like to see again soon.
