Always Be Comedy: The Tommyfield pub, Kennington, London, 2019
I saw Bolton born comedian Sophie Willan play Always Be Comedy in April 2019. Her entrance onto the stage was memorable and from then on, she delivered fifteen-minutes of broad, filthy humour based on her previous jobs and upbringing in Bolton. Willan was like a breath of fresh air on stage and so good to watch. Having not seen her before, she was a real find and I hope to see her again very soon.
