Nathaniel Metcalfe took to the stage at Nick Helm’s Christmas show with an easy and warm charm. He talked about the influential figures and things in his life – everything from Coco Pops to David Bowie. The observations were surreal and unexpected, and the comedy was sharp and hilarious.
Metcalfe appeared again at Nick Helm’s Christmas show in December 2018 and December 2019 both times with a set of celebrity cards and invited two members of the audience to play a game. Helm came onto help and as each card was revealed they had to guess whether the celebrity was better or not better than the previous one. With audience participation, after the answer was given, the final decision was made by Metcalfe and after a good ten minutes of this he left the stage.
