DAVID SCHWIMMER

Play: Some Girl(s): Gielgud Theatre, London, 2004

I saw David Schwimmer (Ross Geller from Friends – the wildly successful US sitcom that ran for ten years from 1994 to 2004) appeared on the West End stage in 2004 in Neil Labute’s play Some Girl(s).  The premise of the play was a Brooklyn-based writer travels the length and breadth of the US to drop in on his former girlfriends before getting hitched. There was his high school sweetheart, still settled in Seattle; sexy in Chicago; the Boston cougar and, finally, the love of his life in LA. Schwimmer was entertaining throughout proving himself to be a physically and verbally funny comic actor.
